Inspired by the ideals and philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi, Child Haven International is a registered charity founded in 1985. We assist children and women in developing countries, who are in need of food, education, health care, shelter and clothing, emotional and moral support.
Well done Sean! keep pushing and pushing and keep 'yer eye on the prize'!!! What a very worthwhile cause you are cycling for! I am exhausted thinking of the mileage you are clocking as I sip on my cuppa tae in the kitchen!!
ReplyDeleteI am just back from Nepal and spent some wonderful times with the children and staff in the Childhaven home in Kathmandu. The children and teachers were very happy to have internet and projector installed in the Green Tara School library (thanks to donations towards my 'literacy project') Grade 5 students, teachers, librarian, Bonnie and I had great fun watching an interesting National Geograpic documentary.
Arran joins me in supporting you, Sean, as you continue your brave and courageous cycle across Canada! Congratulations and hugs also to Mary and the girls!
